What are you allowed to joke about in satire these days? Where do you draw the line? In the Seriously Funny exhibition at the Institute for Sound and Vision, you'll discover how satire makes us laugh while addressing serious themes, and why satire is so important.

Satire should be thought-provoking, and Seriously Funny does that both literally and figuratively. The walls, for example, are made of sandpaper. Visitors are playfully challenged to explore their own satirical boundaries: stools turn into scales, you watch videos with your head in a trash can, you can record your own satirical speech from the throne, test your sensitivity, and even your completed survey goes straight through the shredder. Do you dare? ๐Ÿ˜‰
