Living Looonger is an exhibition for adults at Nemo Studio about aging, staying young, and mortality. Over the past 150 years, average life expectancy has doubled. In 1850, the average life expectancy was 40 years; now it's 80. How would you like to grow old?
Living Looonger focuses on questions surrounding aging, staying young, and mortality. Can (future) developments in science stop aging and perhaps even death? What can we do to grow old as vitally and energetically as possible? Or should we embrace our mortality by giving our lives meaning instead of constantly postponing death?
In Living Looonger, you can explore your biological age, experience firsthand which body parts can (eventually) be replaced, delve into the consequences for our society, and reflect on our mortality.
